Claudia
Hek was born on november 5th 1975 on the rustic dutch island Terschelling,
which she quickly left in the dust for Amsterdam, spending about
1 month at the Rietveld art academy before realizing her rock n'
roll vision of art wouldn't be encouraged there. Moving on from
scary realistic portraiture to striking pin-ups and other so called
low-brow themes such as tiki and mexican art.
Her style is much valued by garage rock bands world wide for posters
and t-shirt designs, also doing the printing herselve.
Claudia exhibited her work all over the world in places such as
Melbourne, Vancouver, Bern, New Jearsy, Chicago, Berlin and Amsterdam.
Claudia also plays drums for the Sixtyniners
and the Serpents of the Nile
